Description
2 cups broken yellow lentils
1 sliced onion
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
¼ lb. butter
5 cups of water
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup small boulghur
Cook lentils in the water until half cooked. Saute onions in butter then add to the lentils, with parsley and the seasonings. Cook slowly until lentils are tender and the mixture thickens. When serving garnish with chopped green onions and parsley.
Adequate for 6 people
