Description
Louisa’s Ghurabieh
1 lb Crisco
1 lb sugar
2 lbs flour a little vanilla powder
Mix all above, shape them into dough and bake at 325°
Mamoul
2 Tbls Crisco
2 stks butter
3 cups cream wheat (simit)
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 Tbs mayzahr (I’m not familiar with this word)
1 Tbs baking powder a little mahleb
For the filling:
Finely chopped walnuts, a little cinnamon, a little sugar, and 1 spoon rose water. Bake in 350° oven.
