Walnut Crescents
1/2 lb. butter
1 cup milk
3 eggs
1 1/2 tblsp baking powder
5 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 tblsp cinnamon, nuts & raisens
Make a soft dough. Divide into 6 portions. Roll out each to the size of a dinner plate. Cut into 8 pcs. Brush with butter & sprinkle with sugar mixture. Roll each piece beginning with the wide end until reaching the point. Arrange on cooking sheet with point side up & curved like a crescent. Brush with 1 egg & bake in medium oven until light brown.
