1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup persimmon pulp
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
grated rind + juice of 1/2 lemon
Cream sugar, butter + egg. Add soda to pulp.
Add to creamed mixture. Add remaining ingredients
+ lemon. Pour into loaf pan.
Bake 300° for 1 hr. 15 min.
