1 cup persimmon pulp (about 3) 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter or Spry 2 cups flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. cloves 1 tsp baking soda 1 egg 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup raisins
Cream shortening + sugar. Add nuts + raisins to flour. Beat egg in separate bowl. Add to pulp in which soda has been dissolved. Add to dry ingredients. Drop by tsp. onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in moderate oven 350° for 15 min.
