Description
2 yeast packs - dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water
6 eggs slightly beaten.
Add 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp. salt (optional)
Beat together. Add yeast mixture.
Melt 3 cubes butter, add 2 cups milk.
Add enough flour to make soft dough, first 6 cups, then 5+ cups, + enough flour dusted to keep dough from sticking to hands.
Let rise overnight or a few hours in the day.
Shape into braids, etc. Brush with egg, then
let rise again.
Bake in 350° oven for 20 minutes.
