Description
2 cups lentils
1 minced onion
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 lb. butter
5 cups of water
1-3/4 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
3/4 cup fine bulghour
Sauté onions in butter. Clean and wash lentils.
Cook in water for 15 minutes. Add the onions to
the lentils along with the parsley, salt and
pepper.
Cook slowly until lentils are tender (15 minutes).
Add the bulghour, mix well, cover and let simmer
2-3 minutes.
You may make patties or put it all in a dish.
Garnish with chopped onions and parsley.
