Description
2 lbs. butternut squash, cooked
1 onion sauteed in olive oil.
Add 2 skinned apples sliced and cook for 5 mins.
Add to squash and 3 cups chicken broth.
Puree with 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 cup
half & half.

Cook squash and 3 carrots for 50-60 mins.
Grind coriander seeds and add to oil.
Saute 1 large onion and add 1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. coriander powder and 1/2 tsp. cardamom powder. Remove seeds.
Add squash and peas and 1 cup yellow split peas.
Add orange peel and simmer for 30 mins.
Remove orange peel. Puree and add 1/2 cup orange juice and water.
