Lentin Kufta
Description
2 cans garbanzo beans3 medium boil potatoes (use them warm)
1 cup boulgour (small)
1 ½ cup cream of wheat quick 2 ½ minutes
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 cup oatmeal
Filling
5 large onions (6)
1 large bunch of parsley
1 small jar cream peanut butter or ½ large jar
1 cup of sesame tahini
Ground hulled sesame seed
2 cups ground walnuts (not to small)
Seasoning - paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper
Small jar peanut butter 12 oz 1/3 cup for outside kufta Drain garbanzo, same liquid add bouglour and let it set to the garbanzo liquid. Grind garbanzo once by itself and then grind both the garbanzo and warm potatoes together. Add bouglour, cream of wheat, eggs, oatmeal and salt and knead.
Filling
Slice onions and ¼ cup water and cook until tender, then drain liquid out of the onion and let cool. Add parsley, nuts, add tahini, peanut butter, salt, pepper, cayenne, paprika and let it cool. Brine for Koufta in water salt, lemon juice to taste. Makes about 35 to 39 filling size of walnut.
