CHARLIE"S OATMEAL COOKIES
3/4 cup Crisco oil
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups oats (old fashion uncooked)
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
nuts + raisens (optional)
Beat together shortening, sugars, egg, water, & vanilla until creamy.
Add combined remaining ingredients - mix well.
Drop by tablespoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° 10 - 12 min.
(use Old Fashion Quaker Oats + not 1 min oats)
