Description
Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown – Bake 40 min
2 cups butter or 1 lb
1 ½ cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 egg yolks
4 ½ cups flour
Beat butter in the mix water and add sugar and beat until fluffy, add, eggs yolks beat a few more minutes. Remove from mix water into a bowl and add flour and mix by hand. Butter a 9x13 pan and spread into pan and get it as smooth as possible. Cut in diamond shape and put a blanched almond on each piece. Pour egg whites as in over top and pour excess off before baking.
