Description
Smoke pork or fresh shoulder. Add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup vinegar. Boil above 1 hr. (Water to cover meat)
Throw away water. Boil again (35 min to a pound). Add enough water to cover meat. (1 1/2" over the meat)
Add cabbage, carrots, potatoes, whole or quartered onions to meat about 1 hr before it's cooked.
