Barsegh Kalousdian, Father of Jean (Kalousdian) Simonian Barsegh was born in Shabin-Karahissar, Ottoman Empire whose family was massacred by the Turks with the exception of his youngest brother, Yessayi. Barsegh lived and worked in Whitinsville for a short while and returned to Marseille, France to raise a new family.
