Description
½ cup of rice (washed)
2 cups of water
Cook slowly to absorb the water.
3½ cups milk
½ cup light cream
Or… 3 cups milk and 1 cup light cream
Add to rice, lower to simmer. Cook until creamy, then add about ½ cup of sugar.
Editor's note: Sometimes a tablespoon or less of rose water is added. One can also sprinkle cinnamon on top.
