Description
2 ¼ c. sugar
¾ c. undiluted canned milk
2 (6 oz.) packages chocolate bits
⅓ c. Karo Red or Blue
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. nuts
1 cup nuts (optional coconut or raisins)
1 tsp. vanilla
(Have ingredients ready before starting.)
Combine sugar and canned milk in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture boils. Turn heat to low & continue cooking for 10 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat and immediately add chocolate bits, Karo, butter and vanilla. Stir until fudge is smooth. Add nuts, etc. Chill 1-2 hours.
