Description
½ c. butter
½ c. shortening
½ c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ c. sifted flour
¼ tsp. salt
2 c. walnuts or pecans, cut fine
Cream shortening & butter, then add sugar, blending well. Add vanilla & nutmeats, then add flour & salt to mixture.
Make rolls 2 ½ inches long & about ½ inches wide. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes at 350°F and then roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool on rack.
Makes 3 dozen.
