Description
1lb Hamburg- 85% lean
1 ½ lbs. onions
Cook Hamburg with ½ cup water. Simmer until there is no water left in pan.
Sauté onions with ¼ lb. butter plus 2 tablespoons Crisco until a little golden.
Add this to meat and then add salt, pepper, allspice, parsley, red pepper (optional) to taste.
(can use top round, cut for kheyma instead of 85% lean if you like)
