Barsegh and Yessayi Kalousdian

Older brother Barsegh (seated) and his younger brother Yessayi Kalousdian. Post card photograph taken in the United States circa 1915. Barsegh immigrated to the United States first and Yessayi arrived shortly thereafter. According to his daughter's memoiris, Barsegh worked in the United States for 15 years and returned to Turkish Armenia to bring his family back with him. The Turks had massacred his family but Barsegh was able to save his younger brother, Yessayi.  Barsegh remained in Whitinsville for a short period of time before relocating to France where he raised his family. He married Chemorik Dogramagian.
