Description
1 lb. green beans
1/2 lb. lamb - shoulder or shank
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
1/2 cup canned tomatoes
salt & pepper to taste
Wash and cut beans.
Brown meat with onion.
Add tomatoes, enough water to cover. Salt & pepper & cook until tender.

I make something very similar to this but it's more of a stew. The only flavor I add is cumin. I serve it over rice pilaf. Not sure just how Armenian my version is but my mother used to make it based on my father's/grandparents' influence I'm sure. Overall, lamb, green beans and canned tomatoes...YUM!
