Description
1-1/2 cups oil (3/4 cup canola, 3/4 cup olive)
5 medium size onions (chopped)
1 bunch parsley
1 can tomato sauce
3/4 cup lemon juice
salt + pepper to taste
2 cups rice (washed)
Heat oil - cook onions until transparent.
Add a little salt. Add rice. Mix thoroughly.
Add tomato sauce, lemon juice. Stir - watch
carefully.
Add more salt + pepper. When rice opens slightly,
shut off, add parsley, let cool. Taste for salt
+ pepper.
Roll. Bake 350° oven, 1hr.
Not quite covered with hot water, sliced lemon
over top + cover with more leaves.
