Description
1/4 lb butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
2 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. flour
1/2 teasp. baking soda
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 teasp. cinnamon
nuts (optional)
Cake:
Cream butter, sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time
and beat well after each. Add soda to sour cream and add
to mixture. Alternate with dry ingredients. Add vanilla
and mix well.
Topping:
Melt butter, add flour, baking soda, sugar, cinnamon, and
nuts. Sprinkle over cake batter. Put in greased 8 inch
pan. Bake in 375° oven for 35 minutes or until done.
