1 1/2 cups rice4 1/2 cups onion
1 cup olive oil
3 tblsp. sugar
1 tblsp. allspice
1 small green pepper chopped small
1/2 cup crushed tomatoes
1/2 bunch fresh parsley
2 lemons mint (dry)
1 1/2 tblsp. Dill (dry)
1 1/2 tblsp. Salt & pepper
1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
2 cups rice
6 cups onions
1 1/2 cups olive oil
3/4 tblsp. sugar
1 tblsp. allspice

Follow directions that are in the book for cooking.
(Editor's note: I am assuming she is referring to Treasured Armenian Recipes, but one could look for any yalanchi recipe in any book or on line. Wrapping the ingredients in grape leaves and cooking them on the stove or in the oven are very similar across recipes. It's important to but something on top of all of the stuffed grape leaves (such as a plate) so that they stay in place while cooking.)
