Wrapping the ingredients in grape leaves and cooking them on the stove or in the oven are very similar across recipes. It's important to put something on top of all of the stuffed grape leaves (such as a plate) so that they stay in place while cooking.)

YALANCHE SARMA

1 1/2 cups rice
4 1/2 cups onion
1 cup olive oil
3 tblsp. sugar
1 tblsp. allspice
1 small green pepper chopped small
1/2 cup crushed tomatoes
1/2 bunch fresh parsley
2 lemons mint (dry)
1 1/2 tblsp. Dill (dry)
1 1/2 tblsp. Salt & pepper
1/2 tsp. ground red pepper

2 cups rice
6 cups onions
1 1/2 cups olive oil
3/4 tblsp. sugar
1 tblsp. allspice
1 small green pepper
3/4 cup crushed tomatos
3/4 bunch fresh parsley
3 lemons
1 1/2 tblsp. dry dill
1 1/2 tblsp. dry mint
Salt & pepper
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper seeds
