Description

Helen and her family regularly attended picnics and gatherings of Armenians from Yarasar and Sepastia across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In this photo, Helen (on the right) and her young niece Melanie are in costumes sewn by Vartanoosh at a picnic in Maynard in August 1949. The woman on the left has not been identified.
