Baked Chili Rellanos
Description
1 can tomato sauce1 onion sliced
1 to 3 t. salad oil
1 can Ortega roasted whole chili peppers
6 strips of your favorite cheese to insert inside peppers (cheddar, jack)
Sap 3 eggs 2 rounded teaspoons bisquick Large? Saute onions in oil until done; Add 2 cans tomato sauce and simmer 5 to 10 min. Pour in baking dish (8x8). Stuff cheese strips in pepper and arrange on the Sauce in baking dish. Bottom baking dish
Beat eggs until fluffy; Add bisquick to eggs; (You can add eggs if mixture is too thick)
Pour over chilis evenly and bake in 350 oven until cheese melts and egg mixture is set; (15 - 20 min. Serve for luncheon or as a side dish. (Some of the chilis in the can are hot, so if you like hot zippy dishes, you’ll enjoy these. Good luck)
4 eggs white beaten will make one cookie sheet. And add to egg yolk for color (frying)
