Description
Melt 1/2 lb. butter and blend in with Khadiyiff. Spread 1/2 of khadiyiff in 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle crushed walnuts on top, then place the other 1/2 on top of nuts. (2 1/2 cups nuts)
Melt 2 cups sugar & 1 cup of water & bring to boil. (Add capful of lemon juice before you bring to a boil.)
Place in 350° oven until golden brown. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of milk after it comes out of the oven. Pour lukewarm syrup on top of warm khadiyiff. (Pour hot syrup on top & cover tightly with foil until cool & soft.)
Khadiyiff is like Pakhlava dough shreddred.
