This is the only photo I can find of Grandmom Zarouhi from the town of Keghi and from her youth and before leaving her homeland. Her sister Vartouhi (Voskinaz) is on the left, an unknown woman next to her and unknown boy, possible one of their brothers. Their mother Arshaluys Harpootian-Boghosian is next to Zarig. Notice they are in Western dress and holding books. I can only image that Zarouhi held this photo in her hand or kept it in a pocket during the long march to Syria in 1915.
